Sexy Zebras

Sexy Zebras is a rock band from the Hortaleza neighborhood of Madrid. Their music is a collection of fiery rock and roll tracks, blending electric sounds with refined melodies. You can catch the band performing at some of the most iconic music festivals and venues across Spain and Mexico.

The fire symbolizes the band’s transformation and renewal: a fresh start marked by their album Calle Liberación. To capture this energy, we decided to design a powerful flame, built from the pattern of a zebra, creating an iconic, bold, memorable symbol that is, quite frankly, quite sexy. This element, almost spiritual, will serve as the band’s emblem throughout this new cycle.

From the vinyl design to graphics for music videos, merchandise, and guerrilla posters, we activated their new identity by capturing their experimental, honest, and raw style in every piece created. Give their music a listen: it’s pure love!

Sexy Zebras, known for their rebellious and experimental style, chose to use invented flags and custom-designed symbolism to convey a powerful and radical message: a world without borders or divisions, guided solely by the heart. Through the creation of these “fictional flags,” the band rejects the traditional concept of nations as elements that separate and fragment humanity. Instead of representing homelands or national identities, their designs address spiritual matters and symbolize a global union based on empathy, freedom, and human connection.

This creative approach reflects their vision of a world where geographical and political barriers are irrelevant, and where the only things that matter are music, love, and mutual understanding. A united global community, free of labels, is the true flag of the future.
