A portfolio website that becomes a canvas to intervene in the digital space.

ABOUT

PichiAvo is a Valencian street-art duo internationally recognized for their murals and sculptures that fuse classical art and Greek mythology with contemporary graffiti. Since 2007, they have paid homage to Renaissance masters, incorporating modern elements like vibrant spray paint and lettering inspired by graffiti pioneers. They have worked in locations such as New York, Valencia, and London, and also create mixed-media paintings and sculptures.

(A) Creative Concept

Inspired by paper, editorial design, and art galleries, the website makes images the main focus. This editorial approach, supported by carefully designed interactions, provides a calm counterpoint that allows PichiAvo’s colorful work to truly stand out.

The concept of intervention is transferred to the digital space. Just as PichiAvo intervenes in urban spaces, sculptures, and other elements, the website allows visitors to interact and engage with the digital space. By activating the “drawing mode” when clicking on the various dots throughout the site, the page becomes a canvas.

(B) UI DESIGN

The dichotomy of their work – Classical Greco-Roman Art and Urban Contemporary Art – is articulated throughout the website by the use of typography and the vertical division of the screens.

The project listing page is of particular importance. The page is divided into two sections, following the two fields of application of PichiAvo’s work: indoor/outdoor. The result: two large vertically divided areas with independent scrolling that refer to two contiguous pages from a printed catalog.

Testimonials

Adrián Blanco, client of Cocota
Adrián BlancoManager, PichiAvo

Before working with Cocota, we had a website that really didn't meet our needs as artists. The Cocota team quickly understood how we wanted to convey our essence. Now we have a website that is not only visually attractive, original, and well-crafted, but also reflects the identity and values of our work and highlights our artistic efforts. This transformation has had a significant impact on the results; we have seen a notable increase in online traffic and greater interaction with users.
