Lindus: a life sciences giant and six weeks to build a visual identity with web application
Lindus manages clinical trials for some of the world’s most important pharmaceutical companies and innovative biotechs — AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson and Syndesi Therapeutics. Headquartered in London with operations across the US and Europe, they have raised over $80 million in five years, including a $55 million Series B in January 2025.
When Lindus came to Cocota, the brand strategy was already resolved. They knew exactly who they were and how they wanted to tell it. Our work was to translate that strategy into a visual identity and web design that represented the values and personality of the new brand.

We had six weeks until the deadline
We brought the visual judgement and the design. We worked side by side with their teams in the UK and the US through daily catch-ups — an intense rhythm that, when there is trust and clear decision-making on both sides, works surprisingly well.
The result is a clean, serious, data-forward identity, with an emphasis on accessibility and documented with the same rigour: if the guidelines do not exist, the system does not exist.
A coherent identity, in short, for a company that does not sell promises: across Lindus-executed trials, 82% completed enrollment on or ahead of the timeline presented at proposal, against an industry average of 20%. That kind of client does not need their brand to shout. They need it to convey the same confidence as their business model does.
The project did not end with the identity handover. We continued working with them on presentation templates and their sales deck — the material that sits in front of a potential client most often, and where the brand has to work on its own, without anyone explaining it.
The data after the web transformation
The early signals from the new site are positive, with the caveat that the measurement window is still short. What the data shows so far: composite engagement is up more than 2× versus H2 2025 with active time per session up 179%, scroll depth up 102%, return visit rate up 99%, and pages per session up 37%. No negative signals anywhere in the data yet.
The qualitative picture matches. Internally at Lindus, the new site is already being used on calls and referred to prospects — described by the team as a more polished, credible foundation for explaining their value proposition.

In Lindus words:
“Turning our descriptions and rough thinking into clear, on-brand visuals — that kind of translation work is genuinely hard, and you made it look easy. Our solutions directors especially love the layout and the interactive slider diagram. The design quality across the template and both sales decks is excellent. I’ll admit I underestimated the scope of what a deck of this depth involves, and you handled it with care. Responsiveness throughout was excellent, with quick answers to questions, clean incorporation of feedback, and clear communication at every step.”

For Cocota, this project holds a particular significance because we got to know a high-stakes sector first-hand, and it reminded us that when the client has a clear point of view and trusts their teams, speed is not a risk. It is simply another way of working — and working very well.
