Accessibility Statement
Introduction
At Cocota Studio, we are committed to universal digital accessibility. We work continuously to ensure that our digital assets are usable by all individuals, regardless of their abilities, age, or personal circumstances.
Our accessibility statement is based on the harmonised European technical standard EN 301 549 in its latest version, which is the European standard for digital accessibility approved by the European Commission. This standard defines accessibility requirements for ICT products and services.
This statement applies to the website cocotastudio.com, excluding embedded content from external domains. However, Cocota Studio and its external providers maintain an active commitment to improving the accessibility of third-party content included on the site, with the goal of offering the most inclusive digital experience possible.
We aim to continuously monitor and correct potential digital accessibility barriers in order to provide an inclusive and barrier-free experience for all users.
Beyond regulatory compliance, Cocota Studio strives to exceed the legal requirements for digital accessibility. Our goal is to meet the highest accessibility standards, including AAA-level criteria, to continuously enhance the usability of our digital products and to obtain certifications that validate our excellence in accessibility.
To achieve this ambitious objective, we have implemented a comprehensive Digital Accessibility Service (S.I.A.). This includes the application of corrective measures such as specialised training for our teams, ongoing evaluation and improvement systems, and proactive actions across our websites and mobile applications—all with the ultimate goal of ensuring a truly universal and inclusive digital experience.
Adopted Criteria
Cocota Studio follows the EN 301 549 standard to ensure the digital accessibility of its website cocotastudio.com. Some of the measures implemented to improve content accessibility include:
- A comprehensive review of all significant images to ensure they include appropriate alternative text (alt), making visual information accessible to users with visual impairments.
- Auditing of structural elements such as headings, fieldsets, lists, and tables to confirm that visual relationships are properly reflected in the code.
- Integration of appropriate autocomplete attributes in forms to improve the user experience, especially on mobile devices and in assisted access contexts.
- Use of both automated and manual tools to ensure sufficient contrast between text and background, enhancing readability.
- Adaptation of all interactive components to ensure full keyboard functionality, enabling navigation without the need for a mouse.
- Review of videos and animations to ensure that excessive flashing is avoided, reducing the risk of triggering epileptic seizures in photosensitive users.
- Implementation of mechanisms that allow users to skip repetitive blocks such as menus, facilitating direct access to main content.
- Auditing of all automatically moving elements to ensure accessible and visible pause or close mechanisms are available.
- Improved link text to make it more descriptive and understandable on its own, without requiring additional context.
- Application of a clear and logical hierarchy in headings and labels to facilitate content comprehension and structured navigation.
- Review of all interactive elements to ensure that keyboard focus is always visibly indicated with clear, high-contrast styles.
- Addition of
langattributes to content snippets in languages different from the main language, ensuring proper pronunciation by multilingual screen readers. - Enhancement of error messages to include clear suggestions that help users resolve detected issues.
- Ongoing improvements to the semantic accessibility of all custom components, ensuring they accurately communicate their role, state, and value to assistive technologies.
- Correct implementation of ARIA roles and accessible attributes to ensure that dynamic messages (such as errors, confirmations, or alerts) are detected and announced by screen readers.
